One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Merci Encore found a gap and took the lead. Banana Pancake followed before Papillon Embrasser.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Merci Encore clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Merci Encore followed by Papillon Embrasser and Moving Pirate. Lane two Banana Pancake followed by Flickering Pixie and Galow.




Merci Encore was still in the lead after 2000m.



Banana Pancake was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Merci Encore were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Papillon Embrasser sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
