The sun was shining on Solvalla today. A perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Blackbird tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Rocking Moon that came steaming ahead. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. The leader got disturbed by something and Ancelina took the lead rather easily. Ancelina was still in the lead after 1500m. driver couldn't keep Blackbird to trotting so they were disqualified. Ancelina looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Blackbird galop. Blackbird lost 30 m. Ancelina kept the speed the whole finish and won before Rocking Moon and Blackbird. Results
