The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Lapua this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Grand Veks Cherry sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Antti Teivainen wanted a little to much in the start and Whys Lexi Ameste galoped for 50 m.




Monospeed quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Whys Lexi Ameste who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Whys Lexi Ameste sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Grand Veks Cherry accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Whys Lexi Ameste started to gallop after 1500m and Antti Teivainen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Grand Veks Cherry sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Whys Lexi Ameste galop. Whys Lexi Ameste lost 10 m.




No-one could catch Grand Veks Cherry today who won before Monospeed and Rozier.
