One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Bleu Et Jaune tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Inkas Close Work that came steaming ahead.




Rheingau saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Rheingau clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Rheingau followed by Finders Keepers and Able To Run. Lane two Bleu Et Jaune followed by Inkas Close Work and Dreaming Valley.



Bleu Et Jaune speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Rheingau sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
