The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sprinter could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Sprinter was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Sprinter was still in the lead after 1500m.



Sprinter looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Black Piece never caught up with Sprinter who won. Jermayne came third.
