The weather had been good all week and Kaukonen was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Carmen Lavec took the lead after a very quick start.




Bujdosó quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Zapi Max took the lead after 1000m. Carmen Lavec didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Zapi Max was still in the lead after 1500m.



Zapi Max looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






No-one could catch Zapi Max today who won before Carmen Lavec and Make The Impossible.
