One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Johnny Globetrotter was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Light Cocktail galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Bazinga quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Snowy Night took the lead after 1000m. Johnny Globetrotter didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Snowy Night followed by Drooling Wave and Bazinga. Lane two Johnny Globetrotter followed by Inkas Waterlily and Glorious Bouquet.




Snowy Night was still in the lead after 2000m.



Snowy Night sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
