The weather had been good all week and Rättvik was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Eternal Tropic could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Ride The Sky was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. Linda Artursson wanted a little to much in the start and Mon Montée galoped for 10 m. Tomas Pettersson wanted a little to much in the start and Eternal Tropic galoped for 30 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Modern Stupidity sprinted to the front. Mon Montée was disturbed and galoped 10 m. Dreaming Sergeant galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Ride The Sky looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Eternal Tropic couldn't come out from behind the leader, Modern Stupidity.




Eternal Tropic saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Mon Montée showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.



Eternal Tropic were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Katrin K Frick tried a little too much on the homestretch and Lennard started to galopp and lost 20 m.




Eternal Tropic didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
