The sun was shining on Haapajärvi and it was a perfect day for trotting. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Counterfeit Madness sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Mupp On Fire showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping. Counterfeit Madness was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. California Girl took the lead after 1000m. Counterfeit Madness didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Solid Bomb was disturbed and galoped 10 m. California Girl was still in the lead after 1500m. Counterfeit Madness litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Mupp On Fire galop. Mupp On Fire lost 20 m. California Girl won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
