The sun was shining on Halmstad and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lonely Needle took the lead after a very quick start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Red Wish looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Big Missile couldn't come out from behind the leader, Lonely Needle.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Lonely Needle today. It continued in the lead.



Lonely Needle sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Final standings. 1 Big Missile, 2 Lonely Needle, 3 Red Wish.
