Only a humble breeze blew over Lappeenranta this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Elaina took the lead after a very quick start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Bold Pie sprinted to the front.




Proximus sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Elaina looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Proximus put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Proximus looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Bold Pie won. Proximus came in second. Elaina caught third place.
