The sun was shining on Gävle and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Blackbird took the lead after a very quick start.




Blackbird was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. A bird flew just in front of Blackbird who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Blackbird clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.



Whatever Temptress clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Sophisticated Nugget galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.




Blackbird won the race after a spectacular finish.
