The sun was shining on Gävle and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Ginger Sunset. Sneaking Hope ended up behind the leader. Swinging The Dead got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Swinging The Dead quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Paradis Corail looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Ginger Sunset couldn't come out from behind the leader, Swinging The Dead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Swinging The Dead followed by Ginger Sunset and Sneaking Hope. Lane two Paradis Corail followed by Happy Sunset and Drooling Plan.




Swinging The Dead sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Paradis Corail was disturbed and gallopped for 10 m.



Swinging The Dead kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Swinging The Dead. Sneaking Hope came in second. Ginger Sunset became third.
