The sun was shining on Solvalla and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Hard Hero was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Rocking Scout, Muscular Motor, Pretty Duchess, Make Me Money, Ticking Spring, Halvard K., Garlic, Hard Hero.




Ticking Spring sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Ticking Spring followed by Hard Hero and Halvard K.. Lane two Handy Bear followed by Garlic and Muscular Motor.




Ticking Spring sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Ticking Spring sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Handy Bear made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Ticking Spring.
