One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dusty Spring tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Maggiore that came steaming ahead.




Maggiore was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Maggiore started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




The leader got disturbed by something and Hoping Moment took the lead rather easily.
