It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Flickering Moment tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Turon Palma that came steaming ahead.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Jolly Duchess sprinted to the front.

Flickering Moment sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Barefoot Glitter looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Nikita Opal gallopped for 10 m.

Nikita Opal took the lead.

With only a little left of the race Nikita Opal galoped for 50 m. Barefoot Glitter speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Edgy Addiction galoped for 60m and was disqualified.

Barefoot Glitter kept the speed the whole finish and won before Manglerskan and Turon Palma.
