One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Narkissos Tilly could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. driver couldn't keep Moonlight Nutcracker to trotting so they were disqualified.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Halmir sprinted to the front.




Halmir was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. driver couldn't keep Hador Lórindol to trotting so they were disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Halmir followed by Narkissos Tilly and Godin. Lane two Heart Ache followed by Whispering Star and Tripping Girl. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Tripping Girl gallopped for 30 m.




Heart Ache took the lead.



Heart Ache sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Heart Ache didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
