It had been raining for several days at Harstad but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Big Deal took the lead after a very quick start.




Big Deal was in fine shape and held the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Grasping Sparrow speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
