It had been raining for several days at Halmstad but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Golden Comet tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Hénard that came steaming ahead.




Golden Comet quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Hénard sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Hénard followed by Playing Moonlight and Moving Muscle. Lane two Really Up There followed by Golden Comet and .



Hénard looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Playing Moonlight sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
