The weather had been good all week and Harstad was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Slimy Paradigm was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. This is the positions after 500m. Carrara, Grande Penne, Dominant Plan, Slimy Paradigm, Compagnoni, Growing Lion, , . Grande Penne took the lead after 1000m. Compagnoni didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Compagnoni accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Compagnoni were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. Slimy Paradigm won. Compagnoni came in second. Grande Penne caught third place. Results
