One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Trembling Diamond could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Breathing Velvet looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Adventurous Devil couldn't come out from behind the leader, Trembling Diamond.




Breathing Velvet looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Breathing Velvet didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Adventurous Devil speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Adventurous Devil kept the speed the whole finish and won before Breathing Velvet and Trembling Diamond.
