One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Boisse tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Merry Genius that came steaming ahead.




Merry Genius was in fine shape and held the lead. Stopping Boulder started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Merry Genius was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Merry Genius was still in the lead after 1500m.



Merry Genius kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Merry Genius galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




Boisse won. Adventurous Devil came in second. Stopping Boulder caught third place.
