Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Axevalla track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Breaking Carneval took the lead after a very quick start.




Portable Bomb quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Judging Thinking sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Breaking Carneval galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Judging Thinking followed by Tripping Raspberry and Burdet. Lane two Mercier followed by Portable Bomb and Breaking Carneval.



Judging Thinking looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Mercier sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
