The weather had been good all week and Åmål was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Crossing Raspberry tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to I Need Ice that came steaming ahead.

I Need Ice looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Crossing Raspberry couldn't come out from behind the leader, Solid Mountain.




I Need Ice accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Crossing Raspberry was first on the homestretch followed by Solid Mountain and Handy Work.






Handy Work sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
