The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Bollnäs this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Smiling Sun tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Slow Architecture that came steaming ahead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Slow Architecture looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that All Black couldn't come out from behind the leader, Smiling Sun.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Smiling Sun today. It continued in the lead.



Smiling Sun looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Flickering Orchid. Slow Architecture came in second. Smiling Sun became third.
