One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sans Xylene tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Windy Ways that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Tripping Fall started to galop and lost 30 m. Thomas Uhrberg wanted a little to much in the start and Trentin galoped for 40 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Modestine, Sans Xylene, Born Against, Focused Striker, Windy Ways, Minette Du Lilas, Tripping Fall, Figeac.

Sans Xylene sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. driver couldn't keep Modestine to trotting so they were disqualified.

Sans Xylene was still in the lead after 1500m.

Sans Xylene kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Sans Xylene looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Sans Xylene didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
