The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åmål today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wind Up Bird took the lead after a very quick start.

Wind Up Bird sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Wind Up Bird today. It continued in the lead.




Wind Up Bird kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



With only a little left of the race Wonderful Trotter galoped for 50 m. Wind Up Bird sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Starshine Breeze won. Wind Up Bird came in second. Wonderful Trotter caught third place.
