One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Stepping Hollywood was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. This is the positions after 500m. Orchestrator, Jay-walker, Stepping Hollywood, El Rapido, Tripping Girl, Pretty Cookie, Glowing Orchid, Nessla Akakabuto. A bird flew just in front of Alice Lavec who started to galop and lost 30 m. Jay-walker looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Glowing Orchid couldn't come out from behind the leader, Orchestrator. Glowing Orchid accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Jay-walker showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Alice Lavec started to gallop after 1500m and Claes Svensson had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Glowing Orchid kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Pretty Cookie won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
