The weather had been good all week and Östersund was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Portable General found a gap and took the lead. Patrac followed before Sivert.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Butterbean sprinted to the front.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Patrac accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Patrac didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Butterbean showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Patrac sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Portable General never caught up with Patrac who won. Sivert came third.
