One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Blasting Beast was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Bale The Man was in fine shape and held the lead.




Bale The Man looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Loving Titan couldn't come out from behind the leader, Blasting Beast.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Bale The Man followed by Loving Titan and Jerusalem Hof. Lane two Blasting Beast followed by Clever Rock and Handy Legend. Loving Titan started to gallop after 1500m and Peter Ingves had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Blasting Beast looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Blasting Beast didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
