The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rugged Tiger was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Heavy Agent was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Heavy Agent looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Pinstripe´s California Dream couldn't come out from behind the leader, Rugged Tiger.




Rugged Tiger was still in the lead after 1500m.




Rugged Tiger was still in the lead after 2000m.



Rugged Tiger kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
