It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sneaking Starlight tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Running On Clouds that came steaming ahead.




Sneaking Starlight was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Punching Arraow looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Running On Clouds couldn't come out from behind the leader, Sneaking Starlight.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sneaking Starlight followed by Running On Clouds and Walking Universe. Lane two Punching Arraow followed by Falling Daffodil and Cecina.




Sneaking Starlight was still in the lead after 2000m.



Sneaking Starlight were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Running On Clouds never caught up with Punching Arraow who won. Sneaking Starlight came third.
