One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Beautiful Mambo could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Beautiful Mambo was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Beautiful Mambo who started to galop and lost 20 m. Courrèges was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Expensive Ring sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.



Jakarta Superior sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Winston Volcano galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.




Jakarta Superior didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
