The weather had been good all week and Romme was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Criminal Balders Balle found a gap and took the lead. Rocking Bullet followed before Farmer Johns Opal. Tiny Angel showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

Vrouw took the lead after 1000m. Florens Hof didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Florens Hof saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Florens Hof kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Florens Hof didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
