The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Tornio this day. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Narkissos Face found a gap and took the lead. Flickering Moment followed before Sleepy Peach. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Modestine sprinted to the front. Sleepy Peach took the lead after 1000m. Narkissos Face didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sleepy Peach followed by Modestine and Vlug Aanvalle. Lane two Narkissos Face followed by Flickering Moment and Venice Nova. Sleepy Peach looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch. Narkissos Face won. Sleepy Peach came in second. Modestine caught third place. Results
