The sun was shining on Kuopio today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dominant Mind could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Dominant Mind started to galop and lost 20 m. driver couldn't keep Screaming Thinking to trotting so they were disqualified.




Dominant Mind was in fine shape and held the lead.




Dominant Mind clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Dominant Mind today. It continued in the lead.




Sleeping Sapphire took the lead.



Dominant Mind speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Ari Moilanen tried a little too much on the homestretch and I Am Sure started to galopp and lost 40 m. Tuomas Pakkanen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Scatman started to galopp and lost 10 m. Jukka-Pekka Kauhanen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Screaming Thinking started to galopp and lost 20 m.




Dominant Mind didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
