It had been raining for several days at Drammen but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Cheerful Behemoth tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Mimoun that came steaming ahead. Whatever Venus was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Piska Litetill looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Cheerful Behemoth couldn't come out from behind the leader, Mimoun. Mimoun was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Piska Litetill accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



With only a little left of the race Mimoun galoped for 10 m. Piska Litetill looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Cheerful Behemoth sprinted over the finishline before Mimoun and Piska Litetill.
