One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Hoping Moment was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Lönnfete Larry saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Going Wrong who started to galop and lost 30 m. Hoping Moment looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Speeding Steel couldn't come out from behind the leader, Lönnfete Larry. Lönnfete Larry galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m. Speeding Steel looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Hoping Moment was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Hoping Moment suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead. Speeding Steel won. Hoping Moment came in second. Going Wrong caught third place. Results
