One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Champ De Mars tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Striking Lovebreaker that came steaming ahead. Helpful Printer showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Close Bullet sprinted to the front.

The leader got disturbed by something and Nessla Benihana took the lead rather easily.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Nessla Benihana today. It continued in the lead.

Striking Lovebreaker was first on the homestretch followed by Nessla Benihana and Champ De Mars.

Champ De Mars won the race after a spectacular finish.
