One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Barefoot Candy was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and La Comtesse D'aucy sprinted to the front.




Playing Thinker sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Playing Thinker was still in the lead after 1500m. Pinstripe´s Champagne galloped for 60m and was disqualified.



Playing Thinker sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Barefoot Candy showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Pinstripe´s Champagne galoped for 60m and was disqualified.




Bianco Colomba never caught up with Playing Thinker who won. Semenko Pegasos came third.
