One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





J'attendrai tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Empire Hills that came steaming ahead.




Empire Hills was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Van Basten Dynamite who started to galop and lost 30 m.




J'attendrai looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Shooting Sound couldn't come out from behind the leader, Empire Hills.



Van Basten Dynamite showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Empire Hills looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that J'attendrai couldn't come out from behind the leader, Shooting Sound.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Shooting Sound galop. Shooting Sound lost 10 m.




J'attendrai won the race after a spectacular finish.
