Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Klosterskogen track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Barbed Wire was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Crying Rain started to galop and lost 10 m.




Crying Rain quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Barbed Wire was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Crying Rain was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Crying Rain followed by L'amour Sera Mort and Barbed Wire. Lane two Breaking Needle followed by Heidelberg Hof and .



Crying Rain kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Eirik Høitomt tried a little too much on the homestretch and Barbed Wire started to galopp and lost 10 m.
