The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Kaukonen today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Perfect Temptress was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Edgy Lipstick saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Edgy Lipstick started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Tropical Godiva took the lead after 1000m. Perfect Temptress didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Tricky Sunray suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Tropical Godiva followed by Dusty Spring and Edgy Lipstick. Lane two Perfect Temptress followed by Valetta Princess and Narkissos Face.



Perfect Temptress speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Windy Ways galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




Perfect Temptress didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
