It had been raining for several days at Halmstad but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Abella took the lead after a very quick start. driver couldn't keep Hessen Hof to trotting so they were disqualified. Linda On Fire galloped way to long and was disqualified.

This is the positions after 500m. Damien, Novella, Émilie, Paradoxial Law, Some Medical Phrase, Carlos Caesar, Panzerjäger, Devious Edna Cherry. Abella galloped for 60m and was disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Paradoxial Law who started to galop and lost 10 m. A bird flew just in front of Shy Bomb who started to galop and lost 20 m.

Émilie took the lead after 1000m. Damien didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Émilie was still in the lead after 1500m.

Émilie sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Björn Goop tried a little too much on the homestretch and Novella started to galopp and lost 30 m.

Damien never caught up with Émilie who won. Some Medical Phrase came third.
