One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

California Crown tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Beautiful Beauty that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field California Crown started to galop and lost 10 m.

Running Winter quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Running Winter was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Running Winter was still in the lead after 1500m.

Running Winter kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Beautiful Beauty litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Glanzig Zwak galop. Glanzig Zwak lost 10 m.

Narkissos Face made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Running Winter.
