The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lying Baby could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Lying Baby was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Lying Baby who started to galop and lost 10 m. Blushing Electra was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Lying Baby clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Lying Baby was still in the lead after 1500m.



Lying Baby kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Blushing Electra never caught up with Lying Baby who won. Elegant Cookie came third.
