One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Moving Energy sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Loyal Star, Moving Energy, Barbed Wire, Merret, Dorianne, Ercole, Perfect Song, Prince Special.




Moving Energy looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Merret couldn't come out from behind the leader, Loyal Star.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Loyal Star today. It continued in the lead.



Loyal Star looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Eirik Høitomt tried a little too much on the homestretch and Moving Energy started to galopp and lost 40 m.
