One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Champion Du Champagne could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Ivory Breeze was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.

Dominant Lion quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Falna took the lead rather easily.

Tharx Hamilton looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Kilimanjaro galloped for 20 m.

Falna put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Doer was disturbed and gallopped for 50 m.

Falna looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Champion Du Champagne never caught up with Falna who won. Inkas Coyote came third.
