One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Carlos Cherie took the lead after a very quick start. Craftsman galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Charmed Godiva sprinted to the front.




Hillel Slovak took the lead after 1000m. Charmed Godiva didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Hillel Slovak followed by Miss Waffles and Charmed Godiva. Lane two Behind The Moon followed by Carlos Cherie and Craftsman.



Behind The Moon suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Carlos Cherie galop. Carlos Cherie lost 30 m.




Charmed Godiva made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Miss Waffles.
