The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Kalmar this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sleeping Gold sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Rabicano quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Rabicano followed by Sleeping Gold and Waterproof. Lane two Dancing Fall followed by Emmentaler Hof and Just Runner.




Rabicano was still in the lead after 2000m.



Rabicano looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Håkan K Persson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Just Runner started to galopp and lost 40 m.




Rabicano kept the speed the whole finish and won before Sleeping Gold and Emmentaler Hof.
